1 box White Cake Mix | |
1 cup All-Purpose Flour | |
to taste Ground Cinnamon | |
to taste Caster Sugar | |
as needed Canola Oil | |
1 cup Powdered Confectioners Sugar | |
2 tablespoon Milk | |
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract | |
3 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ Cereal |
Steps:
In a large bowl mix the White Cake Mix (1 box) according to your box instructions, just as if you’re making a cake! | |
Now, stir in All-Purpose Flour (1 cup) to the wet batter, mix well to combine! Then, Fold in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch™ Cereal (3 cup) until it’s incorporated and chunky. | |
Heat Canola Oil (as needed) to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). | |
Scoop a generous spoonful of the batter, and drop it directly into the hot oil, and fry until golden on all sides, and firm. | |
While they’re cooling, make the glaze by mixing up the Powdered Confectioners Sugar (1 cup), Milk (2 tablespoon) and Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon) until smooth. | |
Drizzle the glaze over the cooled fritters, sprinkle over with some Ground Cinnamon (to taste) and Caster Sugar (to taste). |
