Vanilla Ice Cream with Clementines in Cinnamon Syrup
Refreshing dessert which combines citrus, a hint of spice and the sweetness of ice cream! This recipe is a little “fancy” way to serve your gelato for a nice dinner with friends.

2 cup Vanilla Ice Cream | |
1 cup Water | |
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar | |
8 Clementine | |
2 Cinnamon Stick | |
to taste Fresh Mint |
Steps:
Wash up the Clementine (8). | |
Peel and slice them. | |
In a saucepan, bring Water (1 cup), Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup), and Cinnamon Stick (2) to a simmer until sugar dissolves. | |
In a large bowl, arrange the sliced clementines, pour in the syrup and let it sit for a few hours (overnight is better). | |
To serve, divide the clementines between 4 bowls. Add 2 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream (2 cup) per bowl, pour the syrup and decorate with some Fresh Mint (to taste). | |
