2 fluid ounce Cointreau | |
2 Lime | |
as needed Ice | |
1 Beet | |
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar | |
1 cup Water |
Steps:
Make the beet syrup by combining the Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup) and Water (1 cup) in a pot over medium-high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add Beet (1) and let simmer for 10-15 minutes. | |
Combine 2 fl oz of beet syrup, juice of 2 Lime (2), Cointreau (2 fluid ounce), and White Mezcal (2 fluid ounce) in a shaker. Fill with ice and shake for about 15 seconds. | |
Salt the rim of your glass and fill it with Ice (as needed). | |
Pour margarita over ice and garnish with lime slices. | |
