1 cup creamy peanut butter (no sugar added)
3/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbs cacao powder (not cocoa powder, but cacao)
3 tbs brewer's yeast
4 tbs ground flax seed
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 cups sprouted oats (can use rolled oats too)
1 cup shredded coconut flakes (divided, unsweetened)
1/2 cup super seed blend (chia, hemp and pepitas)
Steps:
Pour the maple syrup, vanilla extract and peanut butter in a large bowl and stir until combined.
Add the cacao powder, brewers yeast and ground flax to the mixture and stir to combine.
Then add 1/2 cup coconut flakes, super seed blend, oats and chocolate chips and stir until it's all well combined.
Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes
Take a piece of the mixture and roll into desired size balls.
Roll the balls into shredded coconut and enjoy!
